Don't give up...
He isn't doing well. I don't want to sound overly negative here, but there isn't much positive to report. Just please keep praying for John Asher. So much is going on, I don't even know that I could get my thoughts in order to write it all down. But it is serious and he needs your prayers now more than ever! We aren't sure what God's plan in all this is, but we know he has one. And John Asher's life in not in vain, but serves a purpose. We just pray that he gets to live a life in full.

It is always darkest before the dawn. I firmly believe that and I also know firsthand how amazing the staff at CHOA-Egleston is. They are incredible and will do everything within their power to help John Asher. You all are in my prayers and I know we ALL look forward to hearing about how GREAT he is doing very soon.

I will keep praying for your family and John Asher. I am so thankful that you trust our faithful and mighty Savior. And yes, He does a plan. A good and perfect plan. Hugs.
We're praying here, Robyn and Jeremiah. I also sent this specific request for John Asher to the confidential St. James UMC prayer list. God's people are covering your dear family. Take heart, for the Lord is your strength, dear ones.

Of course you know we are thinking of you and remembering you in parayers. Jason makes sure to offer up a special offering prayer in morning prayers at school as allowed, but at a minimum keeps John Asher in his own prayers each AM and evening.
Call us if you need anything - I see so many of your friends and family posting, so y'all are in good hands!!

Robyn,
I found your blog on the CCAI yahoo group. I as so sorry for all you are going through. We are praying hard for your family and John Asher. We adopted Mia with unrepaired TOF in July. She had surgery in Sept and experienced numerous complications. She ended up being in the hospital for a month. We experienced many of the different emotions that you must be feeling. It is so difficult but it helped tremendously to know that others were praying for us and for our Mia.
I pray that God heals little John Asher and that He gives you strength and comforts you as you face the days ahead.
Praying for you all... The Lord is AMAZING and can do AMAZING things!!!

I followed your blog when you were in China but hadn't realized what had set in when you got home. Prayers for all of you and that darling boy. Julie G, from the CCAI WCP group.
