Peek a boo

That is the game John Asher was playing with his daddy today! Honestly, the video he sent me was the most precious thing. To see our baby boy smile and giggle, it was priceless. The video was sent via my cell phone so if any of you techno people know how to get it onto my computer, I would love to share it!

Jeremiah's parents graciously offered to sit with John Asher so Jeremiah could come home today and spend Easter with us. We are all so glad to have him home! While Easter activities have taken a back to hospital visits this year, the resurrection of Jesus Christ is still so very real. To know the God that offered the ultimate sacrifice, his son Jesus, as payment for my sins, is the same God who continues to heal my son, is very humbling. We are looking forward to worshipping tomorrow morning at church and then we will head to the hospital to bring John Asher his Easter Basket and see some sweet smiles. We are hoping that in the next two days he can come out of CICU and into the step down unit. Please continue to pray for John Asher, despite the smiles, he has some numbers that need to improve before he can move out of CICU.

One last thing, Jeremiah and I would like to thank the very kind soul that cut our grass for us today. It allowed Jeremiah to work on some other things in the yard and still have time to sit down to a family dinner this evening. We are very appreciative. We are appreciative of everyone, those that have brought meals, that have kept our kids and especially everyone that has prayed on behalf of our son, John Asher, whom most of you have never met. We would love to have the opportunity to introduce him to you one day!
