Home Visits Complete

Well we had our final homestudy visit today with the social worker. It went well. She was very cheerful and talkative and made us feel at ease. It was sort of like a therapy session. Next step is for her to type up the information needed to approve us for adoption and send it to our agency and the USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services). We are also filing our I600A which is our petition to adopt. We seem to have all our documents needed for our dossier with the exception of our fingerprints and I-171H which is the document stating approval for us to adopt. We won't have that for many more weeks. Then we will begin having the documents notarized, certified and authenticiated.
