We had a great day spending time with God and each other. We began the day by going to early church and Bible Study. This put us home earlier for our busier than usual day. After a quick lunch Jeremiah spent the first part of his Father's Day completing the play set Nana and Grandad bought the kids for their birthday's this summer. More on that tomorrow, but for now a HUGE thank you to them both! After that was completed (together as a family) we said good bye to my sister and her family (again, more on that tomorrow) and were off to Scoops. If you've never been to a Scoops, just let me tell you what you are missing. It is like the greatest candy/ice cream shop I've ever known. Jeremiah had never been so the kids really wanted to take him there. After that it was off to the pool so Daddy could see what his kids have been learning. And on this day Gracie decided to jump off the diving board for the first time and then several times after that. We came home to have a very late dinner, Kabobs. I had marinated some chicken overnight and my hubby worked his magic with the steak, shrimp, squash, tomato, zucchinni and pineapple. Let me tell you, my man can cook! That was the best dinner I've had in a while! Grilled to perfection. I ate more than my share. We were 10:00 putting the kids to bed but it was worth every minute we spent together. Isn't that what being a family is about? Spending quality time together. It was wonderful! I told Jeremiah I think Father's Day was more fun than Mother's Day!
